The following bacterial types are susceptible to this drug:
Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus intermedius, Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Staphylococcus simulans, Proteus mirabilis, Pasteurella multocida, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus spp., Porphyromonas gulae, Porphyromonas salivosa, Other Staphylococcus spp.

Dogs : Bacterial skin infections, bacterial urinary tract infections, and periodontal disease.
Cats : Bacterial skin infections

Dosage & Administration
This drug is used by dissolving it in water for injection at a concentration of 80 mg (potency) per 1 mL according to the indicated potency. Inject subcutaneously at the following dosage of Cefovecin per kg of body weight.
