This product is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic that selectively inhibits COX-2. It has been shown to be effective in reducing clinical symptoms associated with bacterial pneumonia in cattle as well as acute infectious diarrhea in calves.

Indications
Reduction of clinical symptoms associated with acute and subacute bacterial pneumonia in cattle.
Reduction of clinical symptoms (vitality, appetite, fecal quality, dehydration, and body temperature) associated with acute infectious diarrhea in calves. However, this is limited to cases that do not require fluid replacement.

Dosage & Administration
Cattle: 0.5 mg of Meloxicam per kg of body weight is administered subcutaneously as a single dose.
