Dalmazin is an injection whose active ingredient is d-cloprostenol, the dextrorotatory isomer of cloprostenol, an analog of prostaglandin F2α.

10% d-Cloprostenol Ethanol Solution (d-Cloprostenol, Ethanol (96))

Indications

Cattle:
Synchronization of the estrous cycle, treatment of ovarian diseases based on delayed Luteolysis (retained corpus luteum, luteal cyst, silent estrus, anoestrus with functional corpus luteum), treatment of prolonged gestation and retained placenta.

Swine:
Farrowing induction

Dosage & Administration

The following amount of this drug should be injected intramuscularly per head.
Cattles:
Synchronization of the estrous cycle;Administer 2 mL once to cattles in the luteal phase 5 to 16 days after ovulation. If the luteal phase is not confirmed, administer 2 mL twice at 11-day intervals.
Treatment of ovarian diseases based on delayed luteal regression, treatment of long gestation and placental retention;
Administer 2mL as a single dose.

Swine:
Administer 1 mL once at the end of pregnancy (112th or 113th day).

Withdrawal Period/ Prohibited Period of Use

Cattle: 3 days before slaughted for food
Swine: 1 day before slaughted for food
