Test kit to measure the enzyme activity produced specifically by bacteria in the oral cavity that cause periodontal disease, e.g. Porphyromonas gulae. It is possible to easily check the oral environment by visualizing the activity of invisible bacteria.
How to use
(1) Swab the surface of the tooth to collect a sample
[Dogs]
Place the white side of the cotton swab firmly against the surface of the upper canine or molar near the gums, and swab the surface at least three times.
[Cats]
Place the white side of the cotton swab firmly on the surface close to the gums of the upper canines and molars, and swab surface at least three times.
(2) Stir in sample extract solution (solution A)
Slowly dip the cotton swab in Solution A and swirl it around 10 times without splashing the solution.
(3) Press it against the test plate
Press the cotton swab (green part) firmly against the ○ part of the test plate for 5 seconds.
(4) Put 1 drop of coloring solution (B solution)
After 10 minutes, put 1 drop of solution B on the ○ part.
(5) Judging by color sample
After 3 minutes, judge the strength of the color on a 5-point scale.
The higher the number is, the higher the enzyme activity is.
