Kyoritsu's Saitama Plant is comprised of 12 main buildings. Since 2004, the plant has added new buildings, extended and renovated existing structures, and expanded its premises. Although some of the plant's original buildings remain, it has gradually transformed into a modern plant.

No. 1 Building: Office Unit

A compact building completed in 2005, which houses a small but talented team in charge of plant reception duties and general administrative work.

No. 2 Building: Feed Tower

Although the outward appearance is unchanged from the time of the plant's construction, the interior has undergone a series of renovations. Due to the completion of the No.10 Building it currently operates as a dedicated plant for production of oral solution used in Type A medicated feed products. This enabled feed production to be completely separated from pharmaceutical production.

Despite its venerable appearance, the interior of this building has undergone partial renovation from 2007. The facility is used to perform contamination testing and packaging of vial and polyethylene bottle products manufactured in the No.5 Building.
The remaining space houses movable racks used to store raw materials and finished products.

No. 4 Building: Office Unit

While the exterior of this building is also older, half of the floor space has been renovated as a deodorizer manufacturing plant. The remaining half houses machinery for producing injection-grade ultrafiltration water for supply to the No.5 Building, as well as a small warehouse space.

The original injection plant, which was completed in 1979, underwent refurbishment and expansion in 2007, transforming it into a state-of-the-art sterile injection manufacturing facility. The plant contains three production lines and fills a diverse range of injection products – more than 60 in total – in vials and polyethylene bottles.

Employee Changing Rooms
From 1986 to 2004 this building was used as a testing facility, office room, and sample storage room of the plant's Quality Assurance Section. However, since the completion of the No.7 Building it has been used as a sample storage facility, medical device manufacturing room, and employee changing room.

Employee Changing Rooms
From 1986 to 2004 this building was used as a testing facility, office room, and sample storage room of the plant's Quality Assurance Section. However, since the completion of the No.7 Building it has been used as a sample storage facility, medical device manufacturing room, and employee changing room.

No. 8 Building: Hazardous Materials Warehouse

A storage facility for hazardous materials used at the plant, such as organic solvents, etc.

The first building constructed following the expansion of plant premises, this facility is used to test and package products manufactured on assignment for overseas manufacturers as well as products imported to Japan from overseas manufacturers. The section of the facility used for storage employs movable racks for efficient management of products and materials.

No. 10 Building: Liquid Formulation Plant

A dedicated pharmaceutical product manufacturing facility constructed in 2012 in order to completely separate the production of pharmaceutical products and Type A medicated feed. The majority of the facility's production machinery has been upgraded to achieve even greater output and efficiency.

No. 11 Building: Bulk Pharmaceuticals Plant

No. 11 Building: Bulk Pharmaceuticals Plant

Constructed in 2012 as a dedicated facility for manufacturing bulk ingredients used in human pharmaceuticals under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW). As such, it meets the stringent maintenance and management standards for human pharmaceutical manufacturing required by the MHLW.
